Please follow these steps to Root your device.
IF YOU'RE NON ROOTED USER THEN FOLLOW;
this method is for those users who are getting failure in rooting their devices with other methods. this method will help you most this is what i Hope.
Please Note before you start,
1. Backup you data first
2. I am just educating you and i'll be not responsible for any damages you get.
3. You must turn off your FRP Lock first. Watch this Here
4. This guide is only for J500F
1. Installing TWRP Recovery.
1. Download Samsung USB Drivers from this LINK.
2. Download Odin Software from this LINK.
3. Download TWRP Recovery file from this LINK and if its not working then try this one LINK.
4. Install Samsung USB Drivers on your Phone.
5. If TWRP Files are Compressed in an Archive then Extract it and you will get a .md5 File
6. Enable USB Debugging on your Device by following these steps:
a. Open settings
b. Go to About Device
c. Tap on Build number option for 7 times quickly.
d. then return to settings and you'll find an extra option named "Developers Mode" just above the
about device option.
e. open it and then enable " USB Debugging" option.
7. Switch off your phone and enter into Download Mode by following these steps:
a. Switch off phone
b. Press and Hold POWER KEY+VOLUME DOWN KEY+ HOME BUTTON for a few seconds
c. A Window will appear on screen giving a warning.
d. now press VOLUME UP key to continue. thats it
8. Open Odin Software on your PC.
9. Now Click on PDA or AP button and browse for the TWRP......MD5 file you just downloaded.
10. Select it and press open.
11. Now watch the Log panel in odin software.. when it says Leave CS.
12. Now Connect your phone to PC via USB Cable
13. Now ODin displays "Added"
14. Now simply Click on " Start button and wait for the process to complete.
.. When process gets completed you will get message " Passed " on odin then unplug your device.
.. When your device completely gets turned on automatically
.. again switch it off to test either TWRP is installed or not.
.. when off, then Press and Hold POWER+VOLUME UP+HOME BUTTON together for a few
seconds then you will be redirected to the Recovery mode.
.. if there is TWRP Recovery then its means you have successfully installed twrp recovery.
... now follow below steps to get Root on your device.
2. Installing SuperSU to get Root.
1. Download SuperSu.zip file from this Link and copy it to your phone's internal memory.( DON'T EXTRACT)
2. Now Switch off your phone and boot into recovery by following these steps:
a. Press and Hold POWER+VOLUME UP+HOME BUTTON together for a few seconds.
3. Now you will see TWRP Recovery ,,, now Select WIPE then ADVANCED WIPE then CACHE DATA only
4. Now return to TWRP Home and click on INSTALL , then browse for the zip file you have
previously copied to you phone named SuperSu.zip select it.
5. Now Swipe the button to right to begin the installation. after completion just reboot your device,
PLEASE NOTE:
After completion and during the Boot process your phone will take approx. 10 minutes to boot up, dom't worry and please don't turn off your phone or remove battery. Be Patient.
6. After some time your phone will reboot and you will find SuperSU application in your app drawer.
that's it and you have successfully rooted your device.
